Portable Transformer Oil Test Set (BDV Test) Megger’s automatic portable oil test sets perform accurate breakdown voltage tests on mineral, ester and silicon insulating liquids. Moulded test vessels give repeatable results in the field and laboratory with lock in precision electrode gap setting adjustment wheels. The transparent, shielded lid is a key feature enabling users to see what is happening within the test chamber.

Ducter Test Micro ohm MeterMegger DLRO200 measures resistances between 0.1 μΩ and 1 Ω, at high currents. This versatile instrument can provide test currents from 10 A up to 200 A, subject to the load resistance and supply voltage. A large LCD displays all all test parameters and measurement results.

Insulation Tester 15 KV Megger’s range of MIT insulation resistance testers are targeted at original equipment manufacturers and industrial companies. The top of the new range MIT1525 performs insulation resistance tests up to 15 kV with a 30 TΩ maximum resistance and an accuracy of ±5 % from 1 MΩ up to 3 TΩ.

Insulation Tester 5 KV Megger’s range of MIT insulation resistance testers are targeted at original equipment manufacturers and industrial companies. The top of the new range MIT515 performs insulation resistance tests up to 5 kV with a 10 TΩ maximum resistance and an accuracy of ±5 % from 1 MΩ up to 3 TΩ.

The model GA11 SF₆ Gas analyzer are innovative and reliable instruments for determining the quality of different insulating gases. Among these insulating gases are included SF₆, Novec™ 4710 gas mixture (g3 gas) as well as applications for technical air (clean air/ dry air, based on oxygen and nitrogen). The SF6 Gas analyzer GA11 can measure the concentration of up to six parameters, depending on the selected equipment variant.

The gas detector model GIR10 is used for the detection of the smallest SF6 gas concentrations and is thus ideal for detecting the place and size of leakages. The GIR10, which is based on the non-dispersive infrared technology (NDIR), offers fast response times and reliable measured values even in case of small leakages.

The robust modular calibration system model BCS10 serves for the inspection of the SF₆ gas density and pressure measuring instruments by means of comparative measurements. This calibration system is used to check quickly and easily both density-based and pressurebased mechanical and electronic measuring instruments.

The gas dehydration system, model GAD-2000, can reduce the humidity content of SF₆ gas-filled equipment. It takes the gas out, dries it independently and fills it back to the gas compartment. The double safety system consisting of an implemented SIL2 safety control and a status query of the gas density monitor enables a risk-free and trouble-free execution during the operation of the switchgear.
